Dear members

By now, you would have received an email from the COG committee informing you that all COG group activities, including field trips, have been cancelled for an as yet unknown length of time.  Hopefully, the wonderful leaders will volunteer to reschedule these trips once life returns to normal.

In the meantime, what can you do:

• refer to back copies of Gang-gang from 2019 and 2020 http://canberrabirds.org.au/publications/gang-gang-newsletter/  to check out Sandra's column 'New Places' to give you ideas of where to go for your "daily exercise"
• put Saturday 9 May in your calendar now as this is the eBird Global Big Day  https://ebird.org/news/global-big-day-9-may-2020
• if we go into lockdown, bird from your backyard or apartment balcony
