On the night of the 18th I checked again and the roof of Target was devoid of gulls.  However, they had simply moved to the adjoining rooftop car park.  When a car (presumably a late toilet roll hunter) drove through the flock they all took off and landed on Target but at the Cooyong St end.  My guess was that there were slightly less than on the Tuesday evening.

When we first moved in to Civic we would occasionally see a large flock of Silver Gulls roost on the rooftop car park for Target.  We hadn't noticed that recently.  Last night I heard a gull call and saw there were 'several' in position.  I took a snap and have this morning counted them.marking each bird as counted with a red dot.

To my surprise several = 336.  A nice little boost for my GBS site!
