Given the relative shortage of these two species, i thought these reports may be of interest:

1. Fan-tailed Cuckoo, with plumage looking like intermediate between adult and immature, as shown in the photos below. (Does this count as evidence of local breeding??)
2. White-throated Needletails (about 15) flying low (wingbeats were audible!) over treetops, heading NorthEast, about 1 pm (as clouds were gathering over the ranges).
