On Thursday I was driving from Berridale back to Canberra along the Monaro Highway and at 3 separate locations (Berridale, Cooma and Williamsdale) there were a few Needletails, only about 5 that I could see in each group, hawking low to the ground. Maybe there were more higher up but couldn’t be seen at 100kph.

Some (more than 10)  Needletails/Swifts? over the Ainslie shops at 9.30 am. this morning. Gone by 9.40.

Some at about 100 feet up, others much higher.
