If you want to see Sarus Crane and you don't see them in the ploughed paddocks around Atherton during the day, go to Bromfields Crater/Swamp around dusk.

Kingfisher Park Birdwatchers Lodge is great, and the Daintree Boatman river tour with Murray is a must
