Anything coming from the South will have found it necessary to keep moving in a search for food.

This morning we saw a small flock of lorikeets flying north along the fire trail half way up Mt Majura. They where headed towards the northern section of the park where the Woodland Survey sites are. We weren’t able to distinguish the call and only saw them fleetingly at some distance. Definitely not Rainbows or Littles. If anyone is out there in the next day or so keep your eye out for them. Possibly a bit early for Swift Parrots?
