If you would like to come on this trip, there are now 3 places available. First preference will be given to males as the group is predominantly female.
Please see Kosciusko National Park website for information about current status and walk information.
Snowy Mountains birding - Guthega - Monday 10 to Thursday 14 February 2020
This trip will probably include Pallaibo walk from
Sawpit Creek (about 6 km) down to the Snowy River, and the Cascades walk at Sawpit Creek ( 6 km). Apart from beautiful scenery, mountain flowers and cool weather, we should find Lyrebird, Honeyeaters, Robins, Thornbills, Parrots and Flycatchers to name a
few.
You will need to take all your food for 4 days as no shops are available in Guthega. We will have a shared dinner
each night and happy hour. With three others you will cater for dinner and nibbles on one of the four nights. Brindabella is a co-operative club, so a tidy up will be required. Car pooling is recommended as park fees apply.
Bookings for
3 participants will be accepted as soon as possible (Brindabella Ski Club). To gain a place please contact Jean Casburn by email stating date of birth if not adult. (m("bigpond.com","casburnj");" target="_blank">).
When your booking is received payment will be required shortly after. The cost for an adult over 4 nights is $86.00. Final details will be provided on acceptance and payment.

For all the events I organised last year the arrangement was that every guest attending the event is booked into the lodge as per
usual.
The guests then pay for their booking.
This saves a lot of hassle with a reimbursing arrangement.
From the club perspective this is a better arrangement.
The booking I have currently will be deleted when you send me the list of guests.
Then each guest will be booked in.
When collecting guests details please include gender and DOB for any associates.

Thanks Mark
This is a Canberra Ornithologist Group organised by me. The club will pay the fee initially if that
is required and the participants will reimburse the club.
The trip will be advertised in the newsletter in December, then I wait for responses and payment.
My phone number is 02 62883929 in case you want to discuss.
Cheers
Jean

I made a booking which will just be a holding booking.
I made two mistakes in doing this so only pat attention to the third email (lol) where it says 12 beds.
Is this event being organised by the club or by you?
When you have number I will cancel that booking and make real bookings for the actual people attending.

Hi Mark
On behalf of Canberra Ornithologist Group, I would like to book these four nights for up to 12 adults. At this stage I don’t have any names for the bookings as the bird outing will be advertised within the
club in December.
Can we make a tentative booking for those nights please?
Cheers
Jean
