Many thanks to all those who have responded to my email about Bush
Stone-curlews. Your replies have been most helpful.
It seems that all eBird records for BSC were coded as “exotic” and not included
in the data set extracted for statistical purposes. It is possible, I have been
told, to deal with this, so we will look to the future.
Meanwhile, Shoshana Rapley of the ANU, who is researching this species, has
provided a very useful report that is being incorporated in the ABR.
Meanwhile, the Indian Peafowl appears to be tickable during the 2018-2019
survey period with 20 records, all but one from eBird.
On the other hand, there are no records for Magpie Goose.
Warm regards to all.
