There’s been lots of superb parrot comings and goings on the northern side of Mt Rogers in the early mornings for the past couple of weeks plus I heard a few in the trees behind the Kaleen shopping centre at about 10.00 this morning.

Superb parrots have been amongst Ironbark blossoms and later in a flowering Eucalypt 50m south of it in mid-Flynn in the last 10 days.
Rainbow Lorikeets have been in the area also but that’s a common occurrence.

This morning I saw several Superbs high in gums just inside Mt Ainslie NR (near the Fisher St entrance), and 5 feeding in an ash tree growing in a garden at the top of Foveaux St.
