To my dear friends of Canberra Birdos -
My apologies for the delay in replying to your lovely card expressing
sincere condolences on the loss of my dear wife, Helen.
Much appreciated.
I seem to have been traveling south to Vic. to spread Helen's ashes on
her family's property and erecting a remembrance plague next to one of
her parent's,
later to Melb. to see my ill elder sister and later still to her cremation.
Been a sad year in many ways & now devastating fires causing much loss
to our valuable environment & in particular to our declining birdlife, etc.
May your Xmas-es be Joyous, and 2020 be a year of exciting "twitching".
I'm sure I shall meet you along the track or at a COG meeting in 2020.
