As subscribers will have read in in the December 2019 issue of Gang-gang, COG Members’ Night will be held on 15 January at the St James Uniting Church Hall, Curtin.

I’m very keen to have the draft program of 5-6 COG members giving short presentations (about 10-15 minutes long) on a range of bird related topics drawn up now before everyone is away over the Christmas/New Year break.

Many thanks again to the presenters who have already offered, but at this stage I’ve still have a couple of places to fill.

So if you have a favourite birding moment for 2019, some special photos to share with members, a birding story to tell, or anything that you think might be of interest to other members, please contact me  by return E-mail on m("bigpond.com","jandaholland");">), or on 6288 7840, as soon as possible.

Members who have not presented to COG before are particularly encouraged.  There is also still a spot for one of our wonderful photographers to show off their skills on the terrific range of birds that have come to the ACT in 2019.

Many thanks for your kind consideration.

Jack Holland
