We have seen (& heard) a boobook 3 times in the past week: once in our front garden; in the playing fields a house away from us; and in the reserve 3 minutes’ walk away. Is it worth putting up a nesting box high up in the very large desert ash on our nature strip? We keep a variety of water bowls in our front & back gardens for birds and insects.
