There were 40-50 SPs at Hughes Oval this morning between 6.30 and 7 in several flocks.
The general movement was east to west around the northern edge of the Oval (ie Red Hill towards Curtin).
Interestingly the flocks were mixed males and females, perhaps indicating that they aren't breeding yet, or these birds can't breed because there aren't enough nest hollows in the Woden Valley. :(
