An early visit this morning ( 5:55 am ) searching for the Black-faced Monarch recorded on eBird yesterday was a dip for me but there were some nice birds around. Two Night Heron basking in the morning sun with a Great Egret and two Sacred Kingfisher and many of the current regulars around including the hybrid Honeyeater.

A later visit again dipped on the Monarch but did get a ( Immature Female ? ) White-headed Pigeon, clearly a different one to the one i recorded at my place on 20th September though and a White morph Grey Goshawk so not a bad day in the end.
