My first site near Tharwa was full of birds, as usual this morning. It got a bit difficult as the wind picked up. As comments over the last week or more have predicted, some big flocks of White-browed Woodswallows with 2 Masked. Lots of W-w Trillers. Strangely no cuckoos all day. I got one bird that I think I might just possibly be the only one to get. Not saying what yet.

What ghastly weather! Worst we have experienced in 15 years of blitzing. It was a day when I was grateful for Grey Fantails!! Let’s hope tomorrow is better. Many thanks to all who braved the winds and especially to those who have already submitted their data. Quite a few interesting records, especially from folk who got out very early. Keep up the good work! b
