Yes, Black-eared Cuckoo. But brown ear 'patch' and comparatively indistinct eyebrow indicate it is a young bird (in its first year).

Looks like a Black eared Cuckoo to me (as per my recent film posting). I assume it was taken locally. if so its probably another one of those drought refugees coming our way.
