Thanks to the ever obliging Christine I learned of this new location and found
the pair in residence, early this afternoon. The first I have seen since a pair
also about 10 years ago at Moomba, S.A.
Not being the purist, die hard type, it was pleasing to catch up with a
familiar bird of my childhood a goldfinch at the wetlands and the little
wattlebirds are still enjoying a feast of gum blossom in the car park.
