Meet at 8am at Namadgi Visitor Centre for carpooling to Glendale Depot. Despite it being unpleasantly windy out at the depot this morning, there were some nice birds there. A male Restless Flycatcher was in trees on edge of the dam, and there was a large
flock of woodswallows beyond the depot buildings - Masked, White-browed and a couple of Dusky Woodswallows. They were feeding on the ground and sitting on low stalks, but occasionally taking to the air in large numbers. A Pallid Cuckoo was calling nearby in
the same area, but with the wind picking up rapidly and a shower passing over ( as well as a couple of irate Masked Lapwings overhead), I didn't bother chasing it up.
