those looking for Double-Bars could also visit the Bungendore sewage works.  There was a small flock there on Thursday sheltering from the wind in bushes next to the road.
 
also a few Shelduck.  No whistle ducks though

A small flock of about 20 Double-barred Finches on the footpath to the Lookout was a good sight.
 
Also of note were a flock of Welcome Swallows and Tree Martins over the Murrumbidgee nr its confluence (good word) with the Molongo (about ten of each) and, on the way back two Pelicans soaring up over the Lookout using thermals.
