Dear members and supporters of BirdLife Shoalhaven,
We are pleased to let you know that tickets are now on sale for the 2019 Bird Haven Festival at Shoalhaven Heads from 18-20 October!
The main ticketed events are An Evening with Sean Dooley on Friday 18 October, and the All About Birds program of talks on Saturday 19 October. The speakers are Tim Low (Where Song Began); Jacqueline Nguyen, avian paleontologist; Peggy McDonald, raptor rehabilitator;
Fiona Blandford, Act for Birds campaigner; Prof Richard Fuller, shorebird expert; and Nicholas Carlile, seabird researcher. The Early Bird bundle gives you tickets to those two events, including dinner, morning tea and lunch, for $75 - a saving of $25 on the
separate ticket price.
There are also umbrella events of a dinner at Far Meadow Table and a musical performance of Where Song Began at Coolangatta Estate that you won't want to miss.
Go to https://birdhavenfestival.com.au/ to
secure your tickets.
The Festival is to be capped off by a free Festival Day on the Sunday with mini-talks, walks, creative activities, conservation and bird themed stalls, music and more, with the aim of creating more bird advocates.
BirdLife Shoalhaven is one of the main supporters for the Festival. We are looking for birder volunteers at our stall and information desks, at bird viewing spots and to sell raffle tickets
over the three days. If you would like to help out please get back to us by emailing m("birdlifeshoalhaven.org?subject","communications");=Volunteering" target="_blank">
