Reading HANZAB Vol 4 I note that there is mention of Galahs taking sprays of leaves to the nest and I have also noticed this. At the same time there is no mention of Sulphur-crested Cockatoos or Gang-gangs doing this. There are observations of Gang-gangs biting off leaves at the nest site and of course much nibbling of bark but no observations of them taking leaves into the nest. If the observation is correct that Galahs take leaves to the nest yet SCC and Gang-gangs do not then I find this rather interesting.

Can anyone tell me if they have seen GG taking sprays of leaves to the nest.

Chris
