I hope many of you recycle plastic drink bottles, and remove the lids as requested. Like me, you may have seen the story on the ABC site about the Melbourne charity using plastic bottle tops to fuel 3D printers making prosthetic limbs for children. In Canberra
the Aranda Street Library is a local drop-off point for bottle tops. The Curves gym at Wanniassa is also a drop-off point, through one of the coaches there. If anyone wants to collect bottle lids and pass them on to me I'll make sure they get dropped off
there. Not large lids like those on peanut butter jars, just the ones off soft drink/water bottles and milk bottles. I won't be at next COG meeting (away for July), but happy to get them after that.
