Winter corella numbers have been building up.  Over recent weeks I have heard the morning commuting flocks flying to the east, some flocks on nature strips, ovals etc nearer at hand.  This evening 440 pm flock of perhaps 300 flying from Symonston area over Red Hill saddle, another at 455.  In between at 450 another heading in same direction taking a line from further north over about Flinders Way.  All possibly heading to same roosting sites around Federal Golf Course.  Today’s numbers are the highest so far this year, and certainly up with the numbers of last year.
