I noticed a group of eight or so Noisy Miners on the western corner of the Federal Court building overlooking University Avenue making a mighty ruckus. After a minute realised they were mobbing a bird with vivid blue facial markings, suspect it was a Blue faced Honeyeater, but it wasn’t visible long. It initially tried to take refuge in the foliage before flying off west towards AD Hope with one Miner in pursuit. This was all around 8:45 this morning.
