I imagine that all list subscribers are currently out in the field, adding bird observations to the 2019 Global Big Day dataset https://ebird.org/globalbigday

Currently Australia is by far the leader wrt number of checklists, and leading by a small margin wrt number of species:

Though the Europeans will get out of bed and into the field in a couple of hours time, followed by people in north and south America, among whom the Colombian birders will shoot to the top in terms of number of species reported from the nation.

I have submitted six checklists so far, and will head out soon to do a few more surveys at dams/wetlands in Wamboin & Bywong.

Best wishes - David
