Today I did some garden work and hanging out washing (a good way
to find birds here). I had flocks of 10 to 50 mostly Yellow-faced Honeyeaters and some White-naped Honeyeaters going over every few minutes, all travelling eastwards. Who
knows how many in total? Much the same over the past week.

Around 700 yellow-faced honeyeaters flying north-east over The Pinnacle yesterday from around 12:30. Oddly, the last lot of around 100 or so, were flying
North-west.

About
8.50am a flock of White Naped (aprox 50) ahead of about 100 Yellow Faced Honeyeaters streamed over 10th
fairway
from West in an NE direction.
Then at
10am approximnately 1200 YFHE streamed across the 16th fairway
– ahead of these were approximately 20 White-naped Honeyeaters – then more smaller groups of YFHE continued for 10 or more minutes.
As we were keeping moving there were most likely more birds to come.
This flock was travelling from West towards NE.
Also nice to see 5 immature King Parrot stopping to feed along the 15th fairway.
Small numbers are still passing over Duffy also.
