Hi everyone
The Annual Bird Report for the period July 2017 to June 2018 is now on the COG
website at the Publications tab, Canberra Bird Notes. The outlook is a little
more cheerful than for the previous year.
Many thanks to all those who contributed data, to the eBird monitors, to Jaron
Bailey for crunching the numbers, the twelve authors who wrote up the species
notes, Nicki Taws for the maps, all those who entered data into our systems
from the Woodland and Garden Bird Surveys, and Leo Berzins and Julian Robinson
for the photos. And to Julian for loading the edition to the website.
It is a great birding community achievement. I think COG should be proud of it.
