For the information of subscribers to the COG line, the Conservation Council of the ACT Region is holding their next Environment Exchange on a topic that relates, in part, to the conservation of native birds in Canberra.  The topic to be discussed is cat containment.

I would be particularly interested in meeting with any subscribers who attend this event who own a pet cat, currently live in a suburb that does not legally require cat containment, and are thinking of taking up the option to do so.  You can contact me offline if this might be the case for you.

More information on the speakers can be found at: https://conservationcouncil.org.au/cat-containment-environment-exchange/

This event is held at the Renewables Innovation Hub, 19-23 Moore Street, Turner and is on from 12-2pm on Tuesday 26 March 2019.

Free lunch, tea and coffee are provided.  Please register here if you would like to attend: register now
