For those interested I use Irfanview https://www.irfanview.com/ to manage images. It is fairly basic - doesn't include much in the way of image
editing for example - but is FREE and the "Save as" function includes an ability to specify a file size.
I find that setting the dimensions of the image (in another part of Irfanview) to 1000 x 750 pixcels (or 750 x 1000) meets this limit, and is accepted by the chatline, and gives a legible quality outcome. It probably won't win many photo comps, but that
isn't the objective!
