Forde Creek walk

I wish to apologise for confusing the date and hence forgetting that I was supposed to lead the Forde Creek walk this morning. I am most grateful to Sue and Sandra for taking over in my absence. I apologise to all who attended and am glad you were, despite it all, in good hands.

It was also gratifying to hear that despite my absence, Forde Creek lived up to its usual reputation of producing very interesting birds which inhabit streams and reed beds – snipes and crakes I am told. Sorry again. John.
