The Double-barred Finches were in the back area of Rodney’s this morning, but only 3-4, I didn’t see a big flock, and they soon flew off south. (Also heard a Spotted Turtle-dove :-( )
On the way back I passed the Puddle on the turf farm on the Monaro Highway. I got a glimpse of a sandpiper type bird on the edge, but the traffic was too heavy to pull over to investigate.
