About 2 years ago I saw a Pelican swallow a large fish which somehow got stuck in a side-ways direction and would not go down.  Seeing the distorted shape of the soft part of the bill was disturbing.  We felt very concerned and hoped that a local would contact a ranger if after a period of time the fish was not regurgitated.
