Chooks egg

Some years ago I was cleaning leaves out our roof gutter and found a chook egg 
in it. Whole (not cracked) and quite fresh. A little later, one lying in mulch 
in the front garden, also fresh. Most likely stolen from the house next door 
which had a chicken coup.
