Looking at the excellent
Birdinfo facility dhows GOG to have 85 breeding records for Chestnut Teal This is roughly 1/3rd the number of breeding records for Grey Teal. The total number of records for Ch Teal is about 1/4
the number for Gr Teal. So Chestnuts are less common than Grey but are a higher proportion of records are of breeding activity.
