Thanks. Particularly interesting to me. The eggs were stolen from The Rhondda, where I used to live. I delighted in watching peregrines there over 50 years ago. They were rare birds. Pigeon fanciers hated them as the peregrines would pick off returning pigeons that had to climb over the escarpment where the peregrines had their nests. They were also a huge target for egg collectors, who could succeed in sneaking past  volunteers who were on a roster to try to protect the birds. One of the watchers, Ron Berry, wrote a small book called "Peregrine Watching" about his surveillance efforts.
