I am just back from there. So a bit under an hour ago, there were about 10 Superb Parrots just in the tree at the corner of Kent Street & Jensen Street. (If going by car probably don’t park on Kent St). Of that I noted 2 adult males, one of which was feeding 2 dy. Although I would not particularly have suggested them as only just out of the nest, one adult male feeding itself, one probably young male in which the yellow & red face markings were only half developed. The rest adult females or juveniles also adeptly feeding on lerp on the eucalypt leaves. Also several Noisy Miners in the trees but no obvious interaction.

On Friday I reported 20-30 SPs in trees down the cycle path from the golf course to Kent street, today there  were similar numbers. They were also in street trees just up Kent Street opposite the entrance to Jensen Street.

I confirmed today the presence of juveniles amongst them, I saw at least two begging and being fed. They seemed to be very young and only just out of the nest. The SPs seemed to be feeding on lerps.
