I've found a couple of dead ones, photographed a Dollarbird with one at the dam
at the Pinnacle last week, saw one flying among the tree tops near the Bittern
Hide yesterday. Quite a number of hatched cicada shells at the Botanic Gardens,
but otherwise...

Morning all,

A post on Facebook from a banding colleague in northern NSW has me now asking
the same question - has anyone seen any Christmas Beetles this year? To date I
have not seen any and have put this down to the very dry conditions we are
having, and have had for a while. Anyone seen any in the local area?

Mark
