Our local Mulligan's Flat Goshawks are very noisy and active at the moment in an other pretty 'dead' location bird-wise at the moment. There are at least 2 young ones who are carrying on and are easy to see, as they 'sit out and complain'. Their
mother on the other hand is much more sneaky and cautious. Here I caught her taking a rest and also plucking an unfortunate prey item - a Noisy Miner. Also stars a very plucky Grey Fantail.

I am pleased with how this came out, it was not easy to film. Designed to be played full screen at 1080p (control bottom right of Vimeo play screen).
Some stills for those who prefer such things
