I wonder who is the most confused, the magpie or the currawong. Begging calls are very similar between the two species. Magpie just responding to maternal/paternal instincts so possibly the currawong the most confused. Chris

A friend sent this photo of a Currawong feeding a Magpie chick. How often does this occur? I have alway seen them as uncompromising enimies.
