Feeding in a swamp does have its disadvantages. This Royal Spoonbill brought up large amounts of mud and decaying vegetation on its legs as it fed at Kellys recently. It was obviously very experienced in these situations as it extracted itself from the muck while continuing to forage. Steve Attachment:
