On our way home from Mallacoota yesterday we called in briefly at Black Lake near Bibbenluke.  

Still a good lot of water present with 250 Coots the most numerous species.  6 Pied Stilts as usual: I am intrigued why they are so regular here but relatively uncommon in Canberra and on the South Coast.   19 Sharp-tailed Sandpipers, which seem to be everywhere this year - they decorated the edge of every bit of water bigger than a puddle at Mallacoota.  4 Whiskered Terns hunting over the Lake.
