There were at least 3 Rufous Songlarks singing their hearts out on the western shore of Lake Burley Griffin on my ride to work this morning – the first morning I have heard them there this season.

The first one I’ve heard this spring – next to Uriarra Rd on the western edge of Stromlo Forest Park. 

 

Also a group of 4 Superb Parrots perched  next to Uriarra Rd near Huntly homestead – a spot where I have seen them a few times previously
