A friend involved in Mallacoota birding suggested I could put in some lists for this exercise which ran from 5 to 11 September this year.

I was able to put in a few lists from there and a couple more since we returned on the weekend.  I'd hoped to be able to include the Stilts and Avocets from Foxlow Lagoon but they have left (or at least I couldn't find any on Sunday when I visited.  1 Black-fronted Dotterel  and a few Masked Lapwings were all on offer there.  I couldn't locate a Lathams Snipe at Kellys but did find a Red-kneed Dotterel.

I am also getting to see emails from around the world as people report in.  It is a very interesting project and I think folk might enjoy getting into it next year.
