In our back yard, 2 magpies from the 2016 brood of the gang who live over the fence in the Mormon campus have teamed up with the 1 from 2017 breed to form a gangette at our place; today they were play-fighting but then began playing with  & fighting over an old green tennis ball; one actually ran with the ball!! They also stand on 1 leg to beg from us when hungry.
