Thanks Guys,
This should be plenty to work with. Philip the Currawongs where south of the Boat Ramp at Googong in the Eucalypt forest in 2016. They were certainly more common than Pied Currawong in there. I think I had 3-4 every hundred meters.

Hi Dimitris
Bruce Ridge has Grey Currowongs. If you look on Canberra Nature Map you can see recent sightings of all of those species and a map (unless they are threatened/sensitive - but it will still tell you the reserve/location seen at). Might
be of use

Actually I am a bit surprised at the comment of “Grey Currawong- Googong Damn- Abundant there.”
Unlike the Pied Currawong, they are mostly solitary, so I would not think they are abundant anywhere. I don’t think I have ever seen more than 2 at any location. Years ago I would go to Googong regularly and I don’t specifically
recall ever finding them there. For what it is worth Speckled Warbler, Southern Whiteface & Diamond Firetail
are species I did regularly find there, in the vicinity of the boat launch ramp and up the hill from there . Certainly over the last few years there has been a somewhat regular Grey Currawong or two present at the Kambah
adventure playgrounds, but I don’t know if it (/ they) is there still in 2018. My neighbour found
Diamond Firetails on Urambi Hills a couple months ago.

Hi there,
I am planning a trip to the ACT for a friend from the 8-10th of September. He has a handful of target species and as I haven't lived in the ACT for a while I thought I'd double check to see if my locations are still good.
Gang Gang Cockatoo- ACT Botanical Gardens and ANU campus
Superb Parrot- Kama Nature Reserve- I Had flocks of 30+ there in 2016 with some breeding going on.
Speckled Warbler- North Mulligan's Flat Reserve
Grey Currawong- Googong Damn- Abundant there, but Any places closer to ACT?
Southern Whiteface- Googong Damn- Two birds back in 2016, any places closer to the ACT?
Diamond Firetail- Kama Nature Reserve, but they really aren't doing to well
Australian Little Bittern/Painted Snipe- any recent sightings?
Pink Robin- In the Botanical Gardens bird still present?
Any particularly good birdy locations up and about atm?
Thanks for the advice in advance.
Cheers,
D.
