I have just seen a segment on ABC Landline about Ribbon Gum die-back in the Monaro region, stated to be due to damage by a weevil, although connected to other environmental changes that makes the trees more susceptible. Looks very serious. It included an interview with well know COGer Nicki Taws (representing Greening Australia), shown working on remediation and planning revegetation...
