The attack my roses a the time. Does your Suttor’s g Gold rose have reddish ‘budettes’? The CRs at my place attack almost exclusively the buds and stems which are reddish before they open – Mr Lincoln, Papa Meilland, etc

They also take the buds, budettes etc of my favourite Suttor’s Gold rose; last yr stripped the lot.

Crimson Rosellas feast on the buds of our almond trees every season and attack the fruit on a Book-leaf Cypress. If they are, in fact, ingesting the latter they must have the metabolism of a landfill goat.
