Hobby pair in Kambah

I was in my yard 2 hours ago and recognised the chittering call of an Australian Hobby, to look up and see two of them flying together, one chasing the other. It was a very quick and not close view and I would have thought unusual to have a pair of them here in mid winter. This sort of interaction is more observed in summer when they become sort of common here. I know their sound and shape very well, so I am certain.
