I swim at the Tuggeranong Leisure Centre twice a week and it is not at all
unusual to find one or two Magpie-larks that have been indoors overnight,
presumably, as they are there at 6am with all the doors tightly shut.

Subject: Australian Magpie-lark in National Library
A female Australian Magpie-lark was observed this morning taking advantage of
when the exit door was opened by someone leaving.
It would come in, search for crumbs, and then stand on the mat near the same
door waiting for someone leaving to trigger the door opening mechanism again.
Smart move, especially on a cold day when the westerlies are blowing off the
snow.
Isobel.
