This morning I noticed two SCCs perched on the edge of my bird bath, which was frozen over. One flew off, and the other dropped itself down on top of the ice in the centre of the bowl (must be desperate for a bath, I thought). I look away and next I see cocky juggling to control a large piece of flat ice in his beak, which he dropped over the side of the bird bath.

What you have to do to get a drink around here...
